The firm has confirmed the problem in a support note, stating that they've received several reports of Windows systems experiencing blue screen crashes (BSODs) across various sensor versions. However, they have not provided any further detail or the cause for this issue.

Given that the bug is caused by an update to CrowdStrike Falcon software, chances are that another update should fix it soon. But for now CrowdStrike is offering a manual solution in a note to its customers. It apparently says that to fix the CrowdStrike Windows 10 BSOD issue, the following 4 steps are needed:
1. Boot Windows into Safe Mode or WRE.
2. Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike
3. Locate and delete file matching "C-00000291*.sys"
4. Boot normally.
